Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program

The young adult stage of life is critical as individuals transition into roles that they maintain long into the future. True Health’s Young Adult Program provides mental health services addressing the unique needs of young adults attending college and those of college-age who have chosen to set out a semester or two.

We recognize the challenges associated with transitioning into this next stage of life and the demands of higher education

Our program provides 3 hours of therapeutic group activities daily Monday through Friday. Program hours are conveniently scheduled from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm allowing you to remain in college and not fall behind in your academic work. Participants start attending 5 days per week and may step down to a minimum of 3 days per week depending on the treatment team’s recommendation. Each individual’s treatment plan is developed in close collaboration with the attendee.

In addition to group therapy individual may be part of treatment.

Every aspect of treatment is intended to assist you in achieving your optimum level of functioning. Treatment modalities in our Young Adult Intensive Outpatient Program may include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, Educational Group Therapy, Co-Occurring Diagnosis Therapy, Trauma Resolution Therapy, and Expressive Therapy.

Psychiatric evaluations are part the comprehensive assessment process for individuals admitted to True Health’s intensive outpatient program. Our psychiatrist may continue to see you for medication management for the duration of your attendance in our program.
